MV Organic Skincare Reveals Celebrity Following

Australian skincare brand, MV Organic Skincare has revealed celebrity following from Emma Watson to Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Emma Watson, English actress, best known for her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter films has listed MV’s Rose Soothing and Protective Moisturiser as one of her top 20 must-have products. “I have the most unbelievable sensitive skin in the world, so I love this moisturiser. It’s extra hydrating and smells of roses, which is heaven,” Emma said in Marie Claire USA February 2012 issue.

Other celebrities who have praised the Australian brand include actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and Australian actress, Melissa George.

“It feels so good to put something so thoughtful and natural on your skin, MV Skincare products smell unbelievable,” Maggie Gyllenhaal says.

Melissa George is MV’s brand ambassador and says, “I have been looking my entire life for the perfect skincare and now I have found it!”

Sharon has developed a mind-body treatment that is nurturing, centreing and a wonderful way to focus on your inner health. A radiant complexion comes as a natural result of the care she gives and the products she uses.

“My love of yoga, meditation and Reiki, along with a desire to create an unforgettably nurturing experience, led to the development of MV Radiance Therapy**” Sharon tells me. “It’s the kind of treatment I always wanted someone to give me – a total skin and body healing experience.”

MV Organic Skincare can be used by anybody, not just those with sensitive skin, and Sharon often recommends products for clients to use at home. In the month since the treatment, I’ve been using the Gentle Cream Cleanser, which is removed with a warm Muslin Cloth as recommended by Sharon because it is gentle and acts as a mild exfoliant when used as a compress, followed by the Rose Hydrating Mist and either the Instant Revival Booster or the Rose Soothing & Protective Moisturiser, and I’m acutely aware of the improvement in my skin. Seven beauty therapists spill their skin secrets.

Could you describe your skin type and concerns?

"My skin type is quite normal but it leans towards oil-dry during winter. My main concern is dark circles under my eyes."

What’s your skincare routine?

What’s your top skincare tip?

One thing about skin you wish you knew sooner?

"Given how much I traumatised my skin in my 20s, I wish I had known then just how inappropriate it was to subject myself to fruit acid peels when I had quite normal skin, free from the conditions these products were originally developed to treat, such as acne scarring and prematurely aged skin."

Any skincare sins to confess?

"I don’t use a mask anywhere near as often as I should."

Any final words of skin wisdom?

"We’re all going to grow older – that’s a fact. We’re all going to get wrinkles one day – that’s a fact. I love what Sarah Murdoch had to say when interviewed for a magazine some time last year: 'Embrace the beauty of ageing'. Hear, hear!"
